Welcome to my web site. I am a native of Sycamore / DeKalb, Illinois. After graduating from Sycamore High School I went to college in Idaho not far from where my parents grew up. There I gained an interest in ballroom dance, and through it I met my wife, Amee Heiner, from Montana. We were married in 1992 and now have six children.
Family News
Nov 19 - Let me try this again. I'd like to announce the birth of Alyssa Rochelle Owens into our family that happened on September 26 (I'll post a picture or send one as soon as I have one developed). She was 6 lbs 10 oz and was 20 in long. Now that I think of it, why do people say long instead of tall? Just because they can't stand up? Anyway, her and Amee are doing fine. Alyssa happens to be one of our better sleepers. One of the kids is always waking me up for a drink, or something. Despite the chaos you can imagine we have now, I was still able to study for and pass my Commercial Building Inspector exam. Unfortunately, it did not help me get the job near Cord'elaine, ID. I also regret not being able to change the interview date so Amee could attend her grandfather's funeral. We are very sorry for her loss, and hope her grandmother will be comforted. I have finally received a response to my resume for building inspector and hope there'll be more. The kids are doing well in school, nothing outstanding to report there. In cub scouts Bryan is close to getting his Wolf badge. Since I don't know of any November birthdays I'll just post September's and October's like I wanted to and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
Nov 11 - And to think I almost had this updated the first of September.
Aug 2 - The kids will be starting swimming lessons on the 12th (Mon - Thur) and last two weeks. One month until school and McKay is anxious to be starting Kindergarten. Now Amee will have three kids at home (Sara, Emalee, and me). Actually, I have become a new member of the ICBO (International Conference of Building Officials), and I am preparing for certification as a Building Inspector. Amee is still doing fine and the baby is due October 3rd.
