Dear Dad,
You always sought for knowledge and wisdom.
Now you can take that to the Celestial Kingdom.
Much of that you passed on to your family,
and gave a foundation to build towards eternity.
Your love and patience was a virtue,
We made mistakes; we didn't mean to hurt you.
Your practical jokes kept us on our toes
For life should be enjoyed no matter how it goes
Thank you for choosing mom as your eternal mate
Your love and respect for her we hope to emulate.
Although your leaving makes us very sad,
We are grateful to say you are our dad.
You've done your part to bring us all together;
May the Lord help us here to make that last forever.
In the spirit world you'll have plenty to do,
